Misty Farm Calendar

Misty Farm is sold out for 2017 but there is availability for April, November and December at the Valley for 2017, Will be booking for 2018 beginning September of this year.

Misty Farm is a seasonal venue opened for business beginning mid May thru October. We book one event per weekend and allow also for smaller mid-week parties. Check out the calendar below for available dates. If you are interested in a tour, check out our tour schedule and contact us for an appointment.

Misty Farm Wedding Structure Sheet 2018

Rental Fee:$10,000.00 including the following:

  • Property rental with use of all outbuildings
  • Use of five bathroom facilities
  • Use of heating system in main barn/ and tent as needed
  • 4 seat electric golf cart for weekend
  • Bridal suite for wedding day preparation
  • Set up and tear down of tables and chairs
  • Seating for ceremony site
  • Parking attendant on Wedding day
  • Bar coordinator to assist with Bar details and scheduling
  • Access to props available
  • Day of Coordinator; designs layouts, and assists day -of-needs. (Ask for detail sheet)
  • Two Bartenders/ Bar-Back/ Ice as needed- additional bartender $250.00
  • Bar Set-up
  • Coffee Service
  • Choice of Arbors for Ceremony

How things work at Misty Farm

We know that you are working all year on the details for your big day; but as the day arrives there are still many questions to be answered. Two to three months prior to your big day; you will be contacted by me or one of my staff members to schedule the important walk-through meeting. It is approximately a two-hour meeting where we comb through the final details of the wedding day. In this walk-through meeting; we will focus on all the important details.

We will discuss vendor lists, guest counts, schedules, rehearsal dinner, ceremony details, cocktail hour details, dinnertime details, tent/barn layout, table and linen choices. A few days following your meeting you will be sent a cad layout of the dining tent, pavilion layout, or barn layout; for dining configurations, along with a detailed invoice of all your final choices. You will have the opportunity to refine the details of the layout over the next few weeks and give your coordinator the opportunity to begin the final billing and invoice process.

All must be decided no later than 2 weeks prior to wedding day so that the final payment can be sent and all cleared, linens can be ordered, and staff scheduled before the day of event. If you have an independent coordinator to assist you, she is welcome to come along for this meeting to help her understand or to have an opportunity to ask questions.

A beautiful outdoor venue available here in Ann Arbor just six miles from downtown. Located on sixteen peaceful acres, our 2400 sq. ft. historic restored barn has room for a band, dancing, and eating. Barn accommodates up to 130 people seated, and for parties over 130, tent site is available. The site overlooks a gorgeous pond set against natural wetlands and rolling fields. Uniquely restored historic buildings sit amongst beautiful perennial gardens. This setting will assure a memorable and beautiful day.

The Valley Calendar

The Valley is the most recent addition to Frutig Farms. We began renovations of this 1840's farm in December 2012.We are open, starting the first week of April thru December each year.Check out the calendar for available dates. How things work at The Valley

The Valley is a newly renovated 1840's barn, located only 1/2 mile east of Misty Farm. The beautiful ceremony site includes bench seating, followed by the outdoor round silo bar for cocktail hour, a Dining Barn seating up to 275 people, and the beautiful historic main barn for the party. Also, on site is a groom's shed, bridal staging area, and six bathrooms. Come tour this unique venue, and fall in love all over again...

About Frutig Farms

Misty Farm is a private home on sixteen beautiful acres just six miles west of main Street in Ann Arbor, Michigan. On site are situated two historical barns; one built approximately 1860 and the other after the turn of the century.
