Ceremony
What time do couples typically have their ceremony?
We recommend 4:00pm or 4:30pm, but ultimately it is your decision and we can help you plan your timeline to meet your specific needs.
What is the rain plan for ceremony?
In the case of rain, we have a beautiful indoor option in our historic barn in an area separate from your reception dinner. Couples love this option because it doesn't require the disruptive room "flip" like at other venues and it doesn’t feel like an afterthought.
Will the fee change if I do my ceremony somewhere else?
Because we only host one event per weekend, our pricing does not change whether you hold your ceremony on-site or off-site.
Can we have our dogs in our ceremony?
Dogs are allowed during ceremony and pictures, but must be off-site during the reception. Frutig Farms reserves the right to deny the presence of dogs at events for any reason.
Reception

No fireworks or sparklers are allowed on the property.
Are candles allowed?
Candles are permitted in the lower barn only— no candles in the upper barn.
Candles must be contained so that no wax drips onto the linen.
Can we have a live band?
Yes, we allow DJs and live bands. You might also consider live instrumentation for your ceremony or cocktail hour. We have a list of recommendations on our Preferred Vendors page.
What time does music stop?
Music ends at 11pm and we ask that ll guests be off property by midnight.
